Suderman Estimating Systems Inc. offers two different electrical estimating training courses that are taught online or in person. The Suderman Electrical Estimating Course 1 is an intensive, hands-on program that introduces the fundamentals of electrical estimating, including setting up estimates, detailed takeoffs, and summarizing material pricing and labor costs. Course 2 is an advanced, immersive course that builds on the fundamentals of Course 1, focusing on estimating techniques for complex electrical systems such as distribution, service equipment, and motor control. Participants learn detailed takeoffs, pricing, labor costs, and handling change orders, with practical materials for eight takeoffs. Both course options are delivered over a two day period and all participants receive a Suderman training manual, assignment worksheets and practical training on essential estimating tools and techniques.
